The Adventure Council™ is an exciting new organization that will serve the global Adventure Travel community.

By joining the Adventure Council and signing the Adventure Council pledge to uphold the principles and practices of responsible travel, each approved member will be included in the Adventure Council’s premier directory of leading adventure companies of the world. This directory will be widely distributed to over 100,000 adventure consumers, specialist travel agents, adventure businesses, and the media throughout the USA.

Additional benefits include “members only” networking events, priority speaking opportunities to showcase member companies to travel consumers, agents and media, and free educational seminars and workshops by experts as part of the Adventures in Travel Expo trade conferences taking place in Chicago, New York, Washington D.C and discounted admission to The Annual Adventure Travel Professional Symposium in Orlando, FL.

All members will receive a free one-year subscription to National Geographic Adventure Magazine, and an invitation to attend the annual meeting of the Adventure Council, held in conjunction with the Adventures in Travel Expo in Washington D.C. and featuring top keynote speakers. The Adventure Council will maintain an active website with a database of company members and direct links to their adventure products, postings on important news, trends, and resources for adventure travel, and special member promotions.
